Can I add page numbers to a PDF without uploading it to a server?
Yes. This tool processes your PDF inside your browser using client-side JavaScript. Your file does not need to be uploaded to our server for page numbering, Bates numbering, or watermarking.
How do I add page numbers starting from page 2?
Upload your PDF, set the stamping start page to 2, and keep the starting number as 1. This keeps the cover page unnumbered and makes the second PDF page display as page 1.
Can I add Page 1 of 10 format to my PDF?
Yes. Choose the Page X of Y preset or use the custom format Page {page} of {total}. You can also use padded numbers such as {page:000}.
Does the tool support Bates numbering?
Yes. Use the Bates preset or write a custom format such as CASE-2026-{page:000001}. It is useful for legal bundles, tender files, audits, annexures, and office records.
Can I add a watermark with page numbers?
Yes. You can enable a text watermark, set opacity, rotation, size, and whether the watermark appears once or repeated across the page.
